What We Believe
This is a partial listing of what we believe. God's Word, the Bible, is our sole authority. Remember, a person does not receive eternal life by merely agreeing with a creed or list of doctrines, but by true faith in Jesus Christ (please see below).

We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three persons -- Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, and that He is the Son of God (the Creator), and He came to earth to die for our sins.
He (Jesus) was bodily resurrected and is now alive in Heaven, but will return to earth to reign in righteousness and glory.
We believe in the verbal inspiration of all scripture, and we take God’s Word (the Bible) as the sole authority and pattern for all church practice, as well as personal faith and conduct. No single verse, chapter or book of scripture should stand alone, but requires the prayerful consideration of other passages to bear upon (verify) its truth.
We are in agreement with the New Testament doctrine that all have sinned and therefore are in need of regeneration (being born again) by putting personal faith and trust in Jesus Christ with repentance toward God for those sins. God describes "born-again" believers as members of the one worldwide mystical body of Christ. Each local group operates as an autonomous "miniature body", with Christ as Head.

We meet the first day (Sunday) of each week in accordance with the New Testament church practice to remember our Lord and Savior (as He requested, see Luke 22:19), by partaking of the emblems of His death (bread and "fruit of the vine"). Partaking of the Lord’s Supper is the privilege and responsibility of each one who, through an act of faith, has placed his or her trust in Christ as Savior and Lord.
